The winch shall be subjected to the traditional maintenance at least once prior to the beginning of the season of use. If the boat is left always in the water, the maintenance must have a frequency of two times per season. In the case of a racing boat, or a boat, which is often the racing, the winch needs to be rechecked before each race.
